I envision a future in which technology helps people reach their goals rather than getting in their way. We all know, for example, how problematic social media can be when it comes to causing body dysmorphia, and increasing the risks of having anxiety and depression, among other negative consequences. Besides the negative effects, big corporations keep abusing the weaknesses of the human brain at the expense of money. The same applies to products or business models; take fast food or casinos as an example. I completely disagree with these practices, that is why I want to design products, technologies, or systems considering human abilities and limitations and prioritizing people's wellbeing before my own pocket.

On the other hand, I think companies are becoming more potent by the day to the point that some are more powerful than governments. I believe companies are strongly shaping the future we are heading into, and I am afraid most companies prioritize profit before the people and the planet. By creating my own company, I will give myself the opportunity to create a big impact on the world. Owning a company will give me the opportunity to prioritize people’s well-being and ensure sustainable processes. I would like to assess the environmental impact of my designs throughout their whole life cycles. This way, I will ensure an ethical balance between people, the planet, and profit.
