Our bio-based food sensor was designed to combat food waste and promote sustainability in households and beyond. Our reusable wrap alternative incorporates a bio-based sensor made of living bacteria, providing real-time feedback on the status of raw food products. By harnessing a new material, our design eliminates the need for electronics, reducing e-waste. The lid, made of flexible silicone, fits containers of various sizes, minimizing production materials.
